The Movie Night “ONE WEEK CHALLENGE”
THURSDAY, MAY 13th, 2010.
8:30pm
THE CHALLENGE: Horror Movie
TITLE: “COOKING UP TROUBLE”
TIME LIMIT: 3:00 minutes
Whatever’s cooking, it ends up causing a LOT of problems for your characters. Stick to the HORROR genre. (idea by Spencer Strauss)
We’ve been talking about bringing MOVIE NIGHT back for a little bit now. Everyone seems busy, we keep delaying it. It’s been tough to get the ball rolling, which is why we’re going to do a “ONE WEEK CHALLENGE.” Why not? It’s okay. Movie Night is about stretching the muscles. Keeping the machine oiled. Making different things. Playing around. It doesn’t need to be precious or spectacular. It’s just fun to make different things and challenge ourselves. Why do we need two weeks to plan something? Let’s make something in a weeks time. Let’s make something in a day.
And then, if you want to, you can submit your Movie Night film to FILMFIGHTS.COM, a website run by our buddy Justin Johnson. He’ll put your film through another online competition and you might be selected to be included in the next episode of FILMFIGHTS TV on YouTube.
